For those of you who missed out on the metal bedstead competition: we’ve got another great prize to offer you! This time we’re teaming up with Direct Line home insurance  to give you the chance to win one of two B&Q vouchers worth £50!

Like most people these days, I review all of our insurance policies annually. Looking at all the options can be time consuming but definitely worth doing as it can save a lot of money. I use the comparison sites first to get the general lay of the land and then I look at the companies that are not listed on comparison sites. To date I have generally gone with insurers that are not listed on comparison sites as they can offer tweaks and deals that meet our needs exactly.

Direct Line is not listed on any comparison site and is one of the most trusted insurers in the UK. They realise the value that we put on the contents of our homes – that’s why they are offering a prize of a couple of £50 of B&Q vouchers for two lucky winners to add something special to their own home.

Now this would help towards the outdoor wood burner I spotted in there recently! 🙂

Our leaking steading roof needs replacing, a huge expensive job but £50 towards it would be lovely.

If I won, I’d get a sandpit and a paddling pool for the kids – after all, we’re going to be spending a lot of time outdoors once summer comes.

Summer *is* going to come, isn’t it?

ooo that would be rather nice – yes please!

Thought I’d left a comment before but I can’t see it now. 50 quid would buy lots of garden plants for my allotment

  6. Hmmm, our spare room decorating project could use a boost, but I’d also like a shredder…. It will be a tough decision if I am lucky enough to win….

Oooooo…that’s a toughy. Hubby keeps mentioning he needs a hand operated power saw for cutting out a new door in his wood workshop, so maybe if I won a B&Q voucher I would be a lovely person and give it to him to get one!

  8. Richard

definitely garden tools for my allotment

  9. Nicola

I’d spend this on some fruit trees for our garden – would love an apple, a pear and a plum. And maybe one of those fancy apple pickers (in anticipation of the future apples!).

I would put it towards a bbq, it’s just a shame you can’t purchase some sunshine from b&q 🙂
