For those of you who missed out on the metal bedstead competition: we’ve got another great prize to offer you! This time we’re teaming up with Direct Line home insurance  to give you the chance to win one of two B&Q vouchers worth £50!

Like most people these days, I review all of our insurance policies annually. Looking at all the options can be time consuming but definitely worth doing as it can save a lot of money. I use the comparison sites first to get the general lay of the land and then I look at the companies that are not listed on comparison sites. To date I have generally gone with insurers that are not listed on comparison sites as they can offer tweaks and deals that meet our needs exactly.

Direct Line is not listed on any comparison site and is one of the most trusted insurers in the UK. They realise the value that we put on the contents of our homes – that’s why they are offering a prize of a couple of £50 of B&Q vouchers for two lucky winners to add something special to their own home.

Such a long list of possibilities, bt I’d spend it on a new watering can and water butt for the allotment for when it finally stops raining. Thanks

    I’d LOVE a gift certificate to B&Q 😀

If I had one I’d use it to buy a few bags of peat-free compost and some lovely pots to plant more herbs up in. And maybe the pensive looking Meerkat garden sculpture they have out near the potted plants at our local shop. Everyone needs a wee bit of kitsch!

I can never get enough pots! So that’s what I would buy at B&Q.

I`ve been told I would be Spending it on exterior Paint ;-( !!

I’d use it for wallpaper to decorate my son’s room – he’s just moved out of the nursery to make way for his baby sister!

Since moving into our new (to us) 1930’s house last year we have a list as long as my arm of things we both need, and want, to do. A £50 voucher from B&Q would be well received and help to shorten that list somewhat. Thanks for doing another comp. 🙂

  7. I would buy a water butt to collect the rain water from the greenhouse roof, it would save me having lug watering cans down the garden and save my feet from the water sloshing out as I carry them !!!

  8. I’d also spend it on gardening things – more compost, as we’ve no space to make our own, a new pair of secateurs, and possibly some pepper plants, as the ones I’ve been trying to start from seed seem uninclined to germinate.

I’d buy some cushions for the hammock and some more bbq tools – roll on the summer!

I’d buy the picnic table I’ve been eyeing and a little one for our kids as well. Just in time for the Queen’s Jubilee and a barbeque with friends!
