Five £50 Homebase vouchers up for grabs in our Grand Draw

Homebase potting bench
We’re delighted to have teamed up with Homebase to run this Grand Draw. The five lucky winners will each receive a £50 Homebase voucher. The vouchers can be used throughout the store. As you know, they have a huge range of other products too.
However frugal I try to be each year I always need to invest in supplies for the cottage and garden. Compost and seeds are an annual outlay along with tools to increase our ability to be more self sufficient.
Our nearest home and garden store is Homebase and I always enjoy pottering about in there and checking out what’s on offer.
This year they have introduced a new Grow Your Own range. This is largely aimed at people with small gardens. This is great as often friends complain to me that they don’t have enough space to grow fruit and veg. Homebase is also selling a range of seed collections for smaller gardens – who wants to buy enough seed for a five meter row if you only have a balcony?
There are grow houses, mini greenhouses, foldaway grow bags and a good range of products for the garden. I was really tempted by a super potting bench which I thought was great value for £29.99.
Homebase are also selling the new Jamie Oliver garden range. These seeds and plants are a bit more expensive than the Homebase range but include smaller packs of unusual old varieties of seed potatoes – which are fun if you’d like to grow a broader range of spuds. The Jamie Oliver range of seeds includes some tempting veg that are not widely available.
Homebase also sells a wide range of vegetable seedlings, herbs, fruit bushes and trees alongside their annuals and perennials.

hi Fi, S bought a pack of the Jamie Oliver herb plants last week at HOMEBASE , reduced of course from £7 to £1.50 to clear. All still alive so far, bargain me thinks.
Also need your expertise on identifying mysterious plants purchased at Tatt’s plant sale.

What a lovely idea – I could have a lot of fun in Homebase with one of those!
If I were lucky enough to win a voucher, I would donate this to our neighbourhood newly set-up wildlife trust – they’ve been working so hard to create an environment to allow the local schoolchildren to learn about wildlife – and the riverbank is looking particularly lovely now.

It would go on fencing off an area for a puppy, as most of our hedges are far from dog-proof!
Count me in. I’ve just had a look at their grow your own range of stuff and some of the seed collections look pretty good… and a raised bed would definitely come in handy.
I love draws and I love your blog. You have inspired me over time to try things that I would not otherwise have done. Like you I spent a long time unable to work and during that time I explored every inch of your site. I have baked, cured and preserved and even decorated an easter tree for the first time ever! I bought an Andrew on your recommendation when my oven went kaput. Sadly he is doing such a good job we haven’t got round to getting a new oven yet.
